Scholarship
Once again, the brother of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta received the highest scholarship among all fraternies at Davidson College. Even more impressive, our GPA was highest among any men's or women's organization on the court and also topped the all-men's average. With a cumulative GPA of 3.33, Fiji stands proud at the top of Patterson Court.
Service
Fiji holds service in high regard. As a chapter, we held several service events this past year.
The 3rd annual Fiji Hold 'Em poker tournament was a great success in October. We had over ___ participants and raised over ... All the money we reaised was given to the Davidson Housing Coalition.
In the spring, the new class of freshmen worked a roadside clean-up along a stretch of... It was a great bonding experience for them.
We also raised money for the Lucky Cats program, which captures stray cats and then spays or neuters them. We raised over... and trapped ___ cats on campus.
Finally, we went out to Hinds Feet Farm and assisted with an Eagle Scout project. The main focus of the project was digging a drainage ditch. We also moved a few trees and cut the limbs off so that they could be used for poles in the future.
