Directions From I-77:
NOTE: trailers must use these directions. Take Exit 33 and turn west
onto Williamson Road (a left turn if traveling northbound; a right turn
if traveling southbound). On the west side of the interstate, the next
intersection will be at Alcove Road. Take a left onto Alcove. You will
now be driving parellel to I-77 South. Continue on Alcove Road for about
2 miles, until you intersect Langtree Road. Turn right onto Langtree.
You will pass a couple housing developments, and then see an open field
on your right. A small green sign marks the Davidson Lake Campus. Turn
right onto Lake Campus Drive. The Davidson Crew boathouse is the second
building on the right. Trailers may park next to the boathouse, but
all other vehicles must park in the Lake Campus lot, further down Lake
Campus drive on the left. From the Davidson Campus:
If you're traveling from I-77, Take Exit 30 and turn east onto Griffith
Street (a right turn if traveling northbound; a left turn if traveling
southbound). Follow Griffith until it dead-ends into Main Street. You
will be facing the Davidson College campus. Turn left onto Main Street
(northbound). Follow Main Street out of Davidson. You will drive about
3 miles north, until you reach Langtree Road. Take a left onto Langtree
(over the railroad tracks). After about a mile, you'll cross over I-77.
Continue on Langtree for about another mile. You will pass a couple
housing developments, and then see an open field on your right. A small
green sign marks the Davidson Lake Campus. Turn right onto Lake Campus
Drive. The Davidson Crew boathouse is the second building on the right.
Trailers may park next to the boathouse, but all other vehicles must
park in the Lake Campus lot, further down Lake Campus drive on the left.
