The Student Performers Committee
Committee Chair: Max Christiansen
The Student Performers Committee began in 2005-2006 under the direction of Russell Howard '06. The committee plans and coordinates all Union Board events featuring student performers on campus. For instance, Live Thursdays is a weekly Union Board event featuring Davidson student performers every Thursday night in the 900 Room @ 10 pm. These are great events to see student solo artists, dance groups, a capella groups, bands, and improvisational groups perform. The bar is also open for those who are 21 or older for these events. In the past, we have co-sponsored events with Political Connection and other student organizations.
Committee members may help with:
-publicity
-performing
-setting/breaking down before or after
events
-coming up with ideas for new events
