Here are some links to other websites from fellow travelers that you might consult before leaving the country:

Vagabonding (www.vagabonding.com)

Vagabonding is an around the world travelogue created by Mike Pugh, a twenty-something writer from Chicago. Mike traveled on his own through Asia and East Africa from October 2002 – November 2003 and updated this site from the road. It was named Best Travel Blog by Forbes Magazine.  Nice presentation and some killer photos!

Ed’s Gone South (www.edsgonesouth.com/blog/)

For those of you looking for a little Latin flavor, check out Ed’s Gone South.  Ed Sullivan has toured South and Central America on his motorcycle and is currently making his way through Spain. This site has tons of photos and funny stories.  It is a must-see for those thinking about traveling to Latin America or Spain. This site also ranked at the top of the Forbes list of best travel blogs.

Another student travel site, this one features deals and discounts on airfare and accommodation, as well as periodic special package deals that can save you tons of money. The site also lets students set up a traveler’s profile and link to other travelers with similar interests and favorite travel spots
