The BSC gave me a support network and a kind of home to go to when I first came to
Davidson as a
freshman which helped me to feel more comfortable, adjusted, and at home
on campus. Sophomore year,
it gave me a way to get involved on a leadership level with an organization
on campus, by serving as
secretary for the BSC, which opened up more doors for me through
my college experience. Without the BSC,
I feel that things would be really different for me as a student
here at Davidson. I wouldn't feel as connected
as I do now.
The duties of the parliamentarian include: ensuring that the bylaws and parliamentary procedure are followed
and overseeing
voting activity.
