Welcome to Davidson College and New Student Orientation 2006

Orientation is designed to help you make connections with the people who will play important roles in the life of your  student—professors, advisers, and friends. You’ll learn about the connections between the college, the town, and the world. You’ll also see how students come to make connections between what they learn in the classroom and how they live their lives.

This guide provides easy reference to orientation activities for parents. Please bring it with you to campus and keep it with you throughout the Orientation program. You may also refer to the schedule on the Davidson Web site.
