By car, Davidson is easily accessible from I-77 and I-85. The college is approximately twenty miles north of Charlotte, twenty miles south of Statesville, and fifteen miles west of Concord. There is no bus station in Davidson. To ship trunks and crates, address them to your student in Davidson. Limited rail service is available into Charlotte. Railway express is not recommended because of the distance to the station. Parcels sent early by UPS will be held at the College Warehouse until the student arrives.

The nearest airport is Charlotte's Douglas International Airport, about thirty minutes away. Entering students who inform the Dean of Students prior to their arrival will be met at the airport at designated hours during Orientation.
