1. Turn in applications on time! No exceptions. No extensions.

2. You must bring a Lottery Absentee Form for all persons for whom you are selecting rooms in a cluster or double room. Students serving as proxies for a student on leave do not need a Lottery Absentee form.

3. Be on time for Lottery Night, April 5th!  Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your designated time slot (See Lottery Numbers and Timeline for schedule).

4. You must have a roommate to be eligible to sign up for a double room. You must have three/four roommates to sign up for an apartment.

5. Please visit those rooms in which you may be interested prior to Lottery Night.

6. An updated list of available rooms will be kept at each table and on poster boards on the walls of the Chambers Gallery on Lottery Night, April 5th.

7. No male hall may have more than 50% of its occupancy by members of the same fraternity. No female hall may have more than 50% of its occupancy by members of the same women's organization (See Residence Hall Quotas).

8. If you have questions about the lottery process, ask them before room selection on your respective night. (See Lottery Timeline.) There is potential for much confusion during the actual selection process, and College officials may not be available to answer all individual questions that night.

9. The Honor Code and Code of Responsibility govern the lottery process. The Residence Life Office will treat each student with fairness, and we will expect you to treat your peers fairly.

10.Rising Sophomores: If your numbers are high and we cannot offer you a room during room selection, please put your name on the wait list for housing. Rooms that open up during the summer are often in better locations than you would have chosen during lottery.
