Violation
Guidelines
Listed below are
potential outcomes for violations of the Martin Court Policies as outlined
in the Community Standards and Living Guidelines received at check-in.
Please be aware that every incident of alleged policy violation will
be handled individually and that circumstances and attitudes of parties
involved may affect the situation’s outcome. RLO reserves the right
to refer any policy violation case to the Dean of Student’s Office at
any time.
Definition of
Terms:
Trash = refuse left outside the apartments. (Residents
must place trash in the dumpsters. All residents of the apartment will
be held responsible for trash left outside the apartment.)
Vandalism = intentionally destroying the property of the
college
AC = Area Coordinator
Failure to Comply with an RLO Staff Member is, but not
limited to, the following:
A) Not signing or returning the RCR for the individual rooms
B) Not signing the apartment lease agreement
C) Not returning checked out property (i.e. vacuums) in a timely fashion
D) Ignoring repeated requests from staff (i.e. to remove trash, outside
furniture, bicycles etc)

Multiple accumulations
of any violations can result in a judicial referral and/or eviction
from the Martin Court Apartments.
RLO may establish
additional policies and outcomes for the hosting of parties with or
without alcohol in Martin Court. Students are encouraged to inquire
in the Residence Life Office.
*Campus Police will
shut down all Martin Court parties
