Transcripts

Employers may request an official transcript as a final element of the hiring process. The official transcript must be sent from the Registrar's office directly to the employer. Transcripts are processed as rapidly as possible and are usually mailed within three working days of the request. Please allow one week for requests made at the beginning or end of a semester.

Prospective employers may request a transcript. Unless specified an unofficial transcript is sufficient. Obtain an unofficial copy of your transcript from the Registrar and make copies to keep for yourself and to give to employers.

Please remember:
Request transcripts through the Registrar's office.
The request must be in writing and include your signature.
The cost of the transcript is $3.
Additional charges are applied if special handling is required.

Transcripts are also necessary as part of the graduate school application process. Refer to instructions on the specific graduate application for information about where to send transcripts and the date by which transcripts must be received.
