Jazz Ensemble Winter Concert featuring Adam Snow, Percussion

The Davidson College Jazz Ensemble collaborates with special guest artist Adam Snow to present a dynamic program of jazz standards and jazz improvisation.

Snow has been teaching percussion at Davidson since 2004. He teaches both private percussion lessons and the West African Drumming class. Along with teaching at Davidson, he also teaches at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC and at his home studio in Charlotte. An active performer throughout the southeast, Adam works with a wide variety of bands on a regular basis ranging from jazz and blues to reggae, soul, funk and rock and roll. Some of the more notable artists that Snow has performed with include Cyrus Chestnut, Russell Malone, Michael Spiro, Jesus Diaz, Ramsey Lewis, Nneena Freelon, John Schofield and Charlie Hunter.
