| Hillel Back to school Comedy Night Sunday, January 13, 2013 - 6:30 PM Location: Knobloch Campus Center Alvarez- Smith 900 Room |
|
Joel Chasnoff is not your grandfather’s Jewish comedian. With humor that’s clever, sharp, and never degrading, Joel’s comedy is a one hundred-eighty-degree turn from the Borscht Belt comics of old. Audiences across the spectrum, from students at College of the Holy Cross to U.S. Marines stationed at Okinawa to the rebbes of Lubavitch Yeshivah Flatbush find Joel’s comedy smart, witty, and—most importantly—hilarious. A portion of all proceeds from Joel’s book and stand-up performances is donated to Joel’s charitable foundation, Project Elijah. Most recently, Project Elijah sent 100 low-income New York City schoolchildren to the circus. This event is free for those with a Davidson College CatCard.
