Hurricane Hugo Juggling Festival 2004

......................
Greg Warrington, a mathematician and medalist in several recent IJA numbers championships, got the festival started on Friday afternoon by presenting a "math coffee" about his theories of site swap. Warrington, who now teaches at Wake Forest University, showed off some impressive site swaps for the audience of almost 100 jugglers and Davidson math students and faculty in front of the big screen on which he presented some of his material. His paper is available for download at this site, and will appear in an upcoming issue of the American Mathematical Monthly magazine.
