2006 RSC Residency
The Royal Shakespeare Company returned to Davidson January 23
through February 4, 2006, with “Infinite Variety: Love and Family
in Shakespeare.” The
two-week educational residency with RSC Learning was comprised of programs
and workshops for the college and greater community, centering on educational,
personal, and historical aspects of love and family as expressed in the
works and time of William Shakespeare.

2005
RSC Residency
The 2005 RSC Davidson Residency was the second such partnership
in a series of five, planned annually from 2005–2008. This year's
residency opened with Julius Caesar and The Two Gentlemen
of Verona and encompassed public workshops and educational symposia.
Members of the RSC shared their expertise with Davidson students in more
than fifty classes across the curriculum.

2002
RSC Residency
The Royal Shakespeare Company produced its 2001-2002 world tour
of Merchant of Venice in association with Davidson. In a unique
venture that included a two-week performance and educational residency
on the Davidson campus, it was the famed company's only announced appearance
in North America for 2002. It was only their second-ever residency at
an American college or university.
