being planned for the 2007 Residency which will bring theatre-lovers,
families, students, teachers, Shakespeareans, and academics together in
a four-week celebration of all things Shakespeare.

Davidson College again presents a symposium for Shakespearian
scholars and theatre practitioners as part of the 2007 Royal Shakespeare
Company Residency, in keeping with the academic mission of the RSC at
Davidson Residencies. “Like an Old Tale Still” consists of
three days of workshops, discussions, panels, arts events, and two RSC
productions. Guest lecturers include experts in Shakespeare’s Late
Plays and theatre practitioners.
(In
addition to these public events, there will be exclusive workshops for
Davidson College students as well as specific programming with community
organizations.)
