Campus Mourns Death of First-Year Student Josiah Cameron

The Davidson College family mourns the loss of Josiah A. Cameron, a member of the Class of 2009 from Jenkintown, Pa., who died in his room in Richardson Residence Hall on Tuesday, April 11, as a result of a seizure disorder.
Josiah's classmates and friends gathered in the Alvarez College Union on Tuesday night to grieve, joined by President Robert Vagt, Dean of Students Tom Shandley, and many other members of the college staff.
Visitation with Josiah's family was held on Thursday, April 13, in the Mitchell Parlor of the Carnegie Guest house.
The Davidson College community is invited to attend a memorial service to honor the life of Josiah Cameron on Thursday, April 20, at 4:00 p.m. in the Davidson College Presbyterian Church.
