CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE Application
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
CSS/Noncustodial PROFILE (if parents are separated or divorced); when you complete the PROFILE the College Board will provide instructions regarding the Noncustodial PROFILE process. Please share this information with your noncustodial parent
Business Farm Supplement: 2006-2007 (if parents own a business or farm)
Copy of parents' and student's signed, last submitted federal income tax returns (all forms and schedules) and W-2s

Application Steps

1) Complete the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE online (Davidson's CSS Code: 5150)

2) Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online no later than April 15. Davidson's Federal Title IV Code: 002918

3) Submit copies of the following supporting documents to the College Board’s IDOC service - the College Board will provide deadlines and instructions regarding how and where to mail these documents when you complete the PROFILE

• Parents’ and student’s signed 2005 federal income tax returns (all forms and schedules) and W-2 forms
• Noncustodial parent’s signed 2005 federal income tax returns (all forms and schedules) and W-2 forms (if parents are separated or divorced)
• Business/Farm Supplement (if parent(s) own a business and/or farm)
• Corporate/partnership 2005 tax return complete with all schedules (if parent(s) own a corporation or partnership)

Helpful Hints
Please observe deadlines. In order to notify you promptly of our financial decisions, you must submit forms on time.
Fill out each form completely.
Make sure the information is accurate. Inaccuracies will require submission of corrected documents and will delay the financial aid process.
Keep a copy of each form for your records.

Students must reapply for financial assistance each year, and financial need will be reassessed annually based on the family's financial situation. Aid is normally renewable for four years, providing the student makes satisfactory progress toward a degree and family financial circumstances remain the same.
