Judgment of Compliance

Davidson College is in compliance with Federal Requirement 4.4.

Rationale for Judgment of Compliance

As is the case for many traditional liberal arts colleges, Davidson uses a course-credit system rather than a semester-hour system, and requires 32 credit hours for completion of the degree. As noted in the response to Core Requirement 2.7.1, Davidson College offers degrees at the bachelor level only and exceeds the minimum required number of credit hours for that level required by that standard. The credit policy is stated in the Davidson College Catalog.
