Compliance Certification Report Comprehensive Standard 3.2.8 - Qualifications of administrative and academic officers The institution has qualified administrative and academic officers with the experience, competence, and capability to lead the institution. Judgment of Compliance Davidson College is in compliance with Comprehensive Standard 3.2.8. Rationale for Judgment of Compliance Davidson College’s officers are qualified for their positions as indicated by their education, experience, and capacity to lead. Officers of the College must be approved by the Board of Trustees. Individual position descriptions provide further detail of the qualities and qualifications required for Davidson College officers and are the basis on which they are hired. The curriculum vita for each officer provides evidence of his or her qualifications. At the end of the Spring semester each year, each officer of the College prepares an overview of the past year and assesses success or failure in meeting goals for the past year. He or she also prepares a set of goals for the upcoming year. Both documents provide the basis for the officer’s annual review with the President at the end of the academic year.
