Davidson College has purchased international assistance insurance for students on Davidson programs abroad and for faculty and staff (including dependents) who are abroad on Davidson business.  This policy is in force in every country other than the United States and its territories and possessions and any country or jurisdiction that is the subject of trade or economic sanctions imposed by the laws or regulations of the United States.

This policy provides medical assistance (including hospital admission deposit, medical monitoring, dispatch of a doctor or specialist, emergency medical evacuation, and medically supervised repatriation); personal assistance (including pre-trip medical referral information, emergency medication, embassy and consular information, lost document assistance, emergency message transmission, medical emergency cash advance, legal access); and travel assistance (including emergency travel arrangements, transportation to join disabled member, return of minor children, return of traveling companion, and return of vehicle).

In addition, Davidson College has purchased supplemental international medical insurance for Davidson students, faculty, and staff who are abroad on Davidson business or programs.
