Williams artwork

One of the greatest strengths of the art department is the presence of a close-knit group of committed and successful artists and art historians as teachers. All faculty members are professionally active on an international scale and share the results of their experience with their students. Additionally, a series of contemporary art exhibitions and programs involving Davidson's permanent art collection are organized by the gallery director and curator.  Supporting the work of the art department is a staff that includes the slide collection curator, department assistant, and part-time sculpture lab technician.
